Day of Tears as Aisha Jumwa bursts into tears during the vetting process

Today was a day of tears as senior leaders and politicians bursts into tears during the Vetting committee. Aisha Jumwa started the interview on a very high note. However, 3 minutes after the Speaker ushered her to talk about her life, the former Malindi MP burst into tears. Aisha Jumwa was speaking about her growing up before sobbing.

In her own encounter, Jumwa indicated that he grew up in a very large and impoverished family. Aisha indicated that her parents struggled to feed her and her siblings. due to the families financial position Jumwa explained that she was forced to drop out of school. She got married at a very young age of about 16 and continued to have her first born.

According to the Gender and Public service cabinet secretary Nominee. This hardship especially being married young gives her the requisite knowledge to be able to work in her docket. During her presentation the, the speaker had to interject and help the outspoken politician compose herself.

Her incident comes barely hours after Samburu west member of parliament Naisula Lesuuda burst into tears. Naisula cried while trying to question interior CS nominee Professor Kithure Kindiki. according to both women leaders the level of hardship that they have experienced should be treated with a lot of caution and care.
