The Azimio la umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga has some unfinished business , with The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission chairperson ,Wafula Chebukati.
Raila Odinga wants Chebukati to clear up interests he had raised earlier concerning the use of electronic voter registration. He states he is not against the use of electronic voter registration ,but manual voters should be present as that is what the law requires during an election.
According to IEBC the use of electronic voter registers will enable curb any form of election malpractice.Having a precise sum up of those who have cast their votes and alert the commission on any form of negligence during the election .
Odinga also demands that his his team be given a chance to travel to Greece courtesy of IEBC at The Inform p lykos company , where ballot papers will be printed. Raila believes that this will help in ensuring that the printing process is conducted with transparency.
On the other hand The Kenya Kwanza Alliance led by The Deputy President ,William Ruto is quite comfortable with IEBC using the electronic registers as long as no failures will be experienced .
