A lory accident in Migori, One person confirmed dead, and ten others injured after the lorry lost control and crashed into vehicles, motorbikes and by standers.

Confirming the accident, Suna East Sub-county Police Commander Essau Ochorokodi said seven were seriously injured while three suffered soft tissue injuries.

The lorry was headed to Sirare town.

Police are currently at the accident scene, and the casualties are receiving treatment in the Migori County Referral Hospital.

The accident occurred a few metres from the spot where another lorry killed eight during the Easter holidays.
