Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala has claimed that he is a loyal servant and soldier for Musalia Mudavadi. The senator who was speaking at an interview with a local broadcasting house indicated that he will follow Mudavadi forever.
The outspoken senator has been under harsh criticism from members of his party for attending the UDA’s Eldoret rally. Malala was recent attacked by his secretary general who said it was not okay for him to attend the Eldoret rally.
Cleophas on his part indicated that if Mudavadi is okay with going to Eldoret then no else matters. The Kakamega senator has been seen recent with prominent UDA members or in their delegations. He is rumoured to be spear heading a search for a coalition partner for the ANC party.

During the show Malala indicated that he is going to follow Musalia Mudavadi to wherever he goes. I am not going to disobey my party boss, he was quoted.
The ANC staunch member is eyeing the Kakamega Governor’s seat which is currently being held by Wycliffe Oparanya of ODM. He will battle it out on the ballot with Boniface Khalwale of UDA.
The two have even met in a bid to organise and ensure that one of them clinches the seat from ODM. The governor’s seat has been held by ODM since the onset of Devolution a move that the two seek to stop.
