FORD KENYA NAMES WETANGULA AS FLAG BEARER

Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi. Ford Kenya declered wetangula as its flag bearer in 2022 general election.

In an epic yet dramatic national delegates committee of the Ford Kenya party. Wetangula was crowned as the party’s flag bearer in the 2022 presidential elections.

Wetangula who is the Ford-Kenya party leader and senator for Bungoma county has joined hands with Kalonzo Musyoka of wiper, Musalia Mudavadi of ANC and Gideon Moi of KANU in a an alliance dubbed as one Kenya Alliance.

The alliance main goal is to front a presidential candidate among the four who will battle it out with the Raila and Ruto who are currently considered as the only political bigwigs in  Kenya.

All four principals were in attendance of the outlawed and illegal national delegates committee which had been declared null by the political party tribunal after a rival faction of the Ford Kenya party filed a case with the said tribunal.

The rival faction led by the party secretary general Dr Eseli Simiyu has vowed to ouster Wetangula as the party leader due to a number of reasons with the main reason being Abuse of office.

Wetangula and Eseli’s factions of the party had been stopped from holding the National delegates Conference by the tribunal until a case before it is heard.

However Wetangula’s Faction held the NDC which was marred by Gun violence in an incident where one senior official was injured. among the Leaders who attended the highly contested event included, all OKA Principals, ANC Deputy Party leader and Lugari MP Ayub Savula, Kakamega senator Cleophas malala and Nick Salat among others.

During the event ANC deputy Party Leader said that all the four principals of One Kenya Alliance must give them a presidential candidate and as fast as possible.

On his part Malala attacked the Former Prime minister and ODM Party leader saying that if he wants to join them it should be now and not after the elections.
