America Based Kenyan Comedienne Elsa Majimbo has come under heavy criticism for wearing a cheap dress to a high end event. Elsa Majimbo attended the event wearing a long sleek black dress that costed around 2000 Kenyan shillings. Majimbo, who moved out of the country and vowed to never return after being trolled by Kenyans online. She claimed that Kenyans weren’t proud of her and even abused her.
The comedienne gained fame during the hay days of the pandemic. she is the perfect example of instant success. Elsa has however come out to explain her choice of dressing. in the past the 22 year old has been seen spending her money in lavish manner. The choice to spend less on the event didn’t resonate well with her followers.
“Do not spend money just because you have it. I think no one should prove anything to anyone. If you can be cheap, be cheap. I choose to be cheap and I like it because I make money and I keep my money,” she further said. The dress in question was a long black dress with a bare stomach, and back that hugged the Comedian’s lean body.

The artist has claimed in the past that she makes over 60 million shillings in a year. This means that the comedienne is earning more than a local Sacco CEO or an MCA.
