The Kenya Association of Private Universities (KAPU) has petitioned the Ministry of Education to review the distribution of government-sponsored students. They argue that private institutions have the capacity to ease the congestion in public universities if given equitable support.

‘We are partners in the education sector and should be treated as such to ensure every Kenyan child gets quality higher education,’ said the KAPU spokesperson.
