The rift between president Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto seems to be on the rise. this is after both leaders exchange harsh words during different public rallies. Ruto has been a victim of oppression by the government his is a part of. With most of the attacks coming from leaders junior to him in terms of rank.
However this trend didn’t deter the outspoken Deputy president to sway from his mission. He is determined to clinch the presidency come august 9th 2022. However the attacks against him have gained momentum after the president openly started attacking him.
In response Ruto has reiterated by speaking against Uhuru. In the earlier days of their second term, Uhuru’s brigade would attack Ruto directly but the president would refrain. It now seems that the groves are offer after the President accused Ruto of being an Outsider in government.
