The member of Parliament for Mathira Rigathi Gachagua hosted various UDA leaders in his lavish Sagana home for lunch on September 5. among the leaders who visited the renowned politician and his wife pastor Dorcas Wanjiku was the deputy president William Ruto, who was accompanied by Kimani Ichungw’a, newly elected Kiambaa mp John Wanjiku.
Rigathi while making announcements in home welcomed John Wanjiku indicating that Harambee house bloggers,kieleweke politicians and Kameme FM morning show( Kameme is a popular Kikuyu station) had given him a son during the Kiambaa by elections. Which were fiercely contested between jubilee’s Kariri Njama and UDA’s john Wanjiku with Wanjiku emerging victorious.
During the Kiambaa by-election it was rumoured that John Wanjiku was Gachagua’s “secret” son from an innuendo something that Rigathi refuted.
Rigathi on 5th September indicated together with his wife pastor Dorcas that they were happy to welcome their new son john Wanjiku to their rural home for a family lunch. he also reiterated that John Wanjiku was presented to him by his political mentor Deputy President William Ruto and escorted by his in law the outspoken Member of Parliament for Kikuyu Kimani Ichungw’a.
The mp who had previous been arrested by a multitude of DCI officers said that his arrest was just distractions and that people were afraid of his new found popularity. He is believed to be a staunch supporter of the hustler narrative and the deputy president’s presidential ambitions.
