Kitui governor Charity Ngilu has renewed her fight against wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka. During a recent public address Ngilu indicated that Kalonzo doesn’t have the numbers to win the presidency.

Kalonzo is the Party leader for wiper party and a key member of the One Kenya alliance. He is also considered by a majority of Kenyans as the de facto kingpin of the ukambani region. In a string of attacks Ngilu has accused Kalonzo of betraying his people and siding with a losing side.

Charity Ngilu is a seasoned politician but one who is biased in her remarks. She is considered a very strong supporter of Raila Odinga after previously leading a delegation of Governors in endorsing him. During a series of public rallies and social media posts Ngilu has been attacking Both Kalonzo and Ruto. She has particularly accused William Ruto as being unfit to hold the presidency and even at times called him a thief publicly.

The narc party leader is the governor of Kitui which is Kalonzo’s Home county. Her party holds the minority number of MCA seats in the County assembly of Kitui. This has made her be at logger heads with the wiper party Members.

With Ngilu interested to retain her gubernatorial seat she is positioning herself to join the azimio la umoja alliance .She hopes will help her jump some political handles she might experience in the election period.

The outspoken Governor has claimed that Kalonzo is being hoodwinked by members of his party who don’t have the interests of the community at heart.
