Everyone has wished been the only passenger in a plane, getting the ‘VIP treatment”, having no seatmates just you and the flight crew.

A man got to experience the VIP treatment as he became the only passenger to wait out a nearly 18-hour flight delay from Oklahoma to North Carolina.

Phil Stringer, who lives in Greensboro, N.C, area, said he waited 17 hours and 52 minutes before boarding his flight from Oklahoma City to Charlotte.

He discovered that all of the other passengers who were supposed to be on the flight had either caught other planes or given up due to the long flight delay.

He joked in a Tiktok video, saying that he bought out every seat on the plane to avoid having to ‘deal with people.’

He said the crew were  in good spirits “They had to get called, they were at their hotel like they were going to go to bed,” Stringer said.

He also said that he ended up making friends with plane’s crew during his flight
