Tweeter users will have to adapt to the new changes the compony is issuing.
Twitter is issuing limits to how many tweets its users can read as the service suffers extended outage that has stalled users ability to track new posts.
In a tweet, the former CEO, Elon Musk detailed the revised usage quotas. Verified users will only be able to view a maximum of 6,000 posts daily, while unverified accounts will only be able to view 600 posts.
New unverified users, face tight restrictions with them been allowed to view only 300 posts per day according to Elon Musk.
The Tesla and SpaceX chief executive said Twitter is struggling with “extreme levels of data scraping “from “several hundred organizations” and “system manipulation”. This new measures, he says are essential measures o curb these pressing issues.
According to a twitter developer, the company is fighting against a bug in its web that is sending requests to Twitter in an infinite loop.
The new measures follows tens of thousands of user complaining on Saturday that the app was not populating their feeds with newer tweets. Instead users were face with the “rate limit exceeded” error.
