Suspect behind ksh 1 million bhang arrested

A man from Eldoret who’s house was among those raided by the police 3 days ago, found cultivating bhang, has surrendered to the police. Images shared by the police showed how he was using modern methods to grow cannabis in his compound. The plants weighed 33.5 Kg which is equivalent to Ksh 1million.


Investigating office kevin Odhiambo fears that if  the person of interest ,Micheal kibet , is released on a bond it might be difficult to trace his where about, since the suspect has no permanent home. He also pleaded for more time to find out the owner of the house and also do further investigations on the documents found in possession of the suspect.

The police cautions Kenyans against growing of Marijuana because such increasing trends have been observed. The DCI reminds Kenyans that the drug is still illegal in Kenya and harsh penalties awaits anyone who goes against such laws.
