Traffic along Ngong Road is on hold ,after protestors set a Public Service vehicle on fire while barricading the roads with stones and lighting bonfires.
The bus was set on fire on Tuesday morning as police engaged in cat and mouse game with the rowdy protestors.
The road, which by morning is usually busy is now deserted with no vehicles in sight as police take control. Security is tight in all access routes to Nairobi’s CBD.
Azimio Party Leader Raila Odinga called for Tuesday protests in which they protest over the high cost of living and the bipartisan talks which have been put on hold among other issues.
