Senator Samson Cherargei has issued a stern ultimatum to smaller parties within the Kenya Kwanza coalition, urging them to merge with the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) before the 2027 general elections.

Speaking in mid-March 2026, Cherargei warned that parties failing to consolidate would be excluded from high-level government appointments and strategic planning for the next election cycle.
