Kenya has commenced the rollout of Lenacapavir, a groundbreaking HIV prevention drug, targeting 15 counties with the highest burden of infections. The drug is a long-acting injectable administered every six months.

‘This is a game-changer in HIV prevention,’ said Dr. Patrick Amoth, Kenya’s Director General for Health.
