Communications Director of William Samoei Ruto Campaigns, Hussein Mohammed,  was spotted pushing an elderly woman moments after the presidential debate was concluded .

This happened when the Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto and his wife Rachael accompanied by other leaders were taking their leave.

According to netizens suggestion her role was for the photo session ,simply for PR purposes ,as she was seen moments before the incident near Ruto as he reflected  on matters presidential debate.

Hussein  is seen signalling the woman to stop and give way to Rachel and other leaders who were behind her.

Ruto was accompanied by  his running mate Rigathi Gachagua, Ford Kenya senator Moses Wetang’ula, ANC’s Musalia Mudavadi, Machakos governor Alfred Mutua, National Assembly speaker Justin Muturi among others.

DP Ruto, speaking during the 2022 presidential debate at the Catholic University for Eastern Africa (CUEA) on Tuesday night, said the country’s debt  which presently stands at around Ksh.8.6 trillion, according to  the National Treasury is absolutely manageable if the right measures are taken.

He said his Kenya Kwanza government will first halt all borrowing immediately, then put a stop to projects that are not in the government budget, and finally find ways of increasing revenue.

“We didn’t quite get down into the real manifesto issues. I would have hoped that my competitor would have been here so that Kenyans would have the benefit of looking at both sides unfortunately it is understandable that there is only one plan in this election, the Kenya Kwanza plan the other side have sketches and that is why they are not here,” Ruto said
