Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili, also known as ‘Babu Owino’ has announced the return of his free online revision classes for the candidates taking the 2026 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations.
A post on Instagram announced that there will be a Mathematics paper revision on Sunday, 25 th October.
“Our classes are back. On Sunday, 25th October, we will be revising the 2026 KCSE Mathematics Papers 1 and 2. The revision will cover key topics that are frequently tested to help students prepare better for their exams. Don’t miss out,” Babu wrote.
The first lesson will be on Mathematics Paper 1 and Paper 2, which will cover the most likely topics from national examinations. The lessons will provide candidates with extra revision, with the class being held online rather than at a physical revision centre.
The Member of Parliament started the online lessons back in 2020, when schools were shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, using live streams on social media to teach Mathematics to candidates in their homes. Lessons covered topics such as differentiation, trigonometry, logarithms and calculus.
Owino then added more subjects, such as chemistry and primary school Mathematics. Lessons were streamed on Facebook and Instagram. In 2022, Owino spoke to Citizen Digital about his motivation for the classes, stating that the main aim of why he is doing this is to motivate our candidates to pass the examinations.
Lessons resumed in October 2025 when Owino once again opened applications for his free online revision classes for KCSE candidates. Classes were once again streamed via social media.
According to his latest post, the lesson on Sunday 25 th October will be covering Mathematics Paper 1 and Paper 2, and candidates are being asked to use the sessions to revise and practice questions ahead of their examinations.
His latest post did not confirm whether there are more lessons or what time they will be, nor did it mention if he will be covering any other subjects. As of now, the only confirmed lesson is the Mathematics revision on Sunday, 25 th October as the 2026 KCSE examinations draw closer.
