Bishop Margaret Wanjiru was heckled by Senator Sakaja supporters . The Kenya Kwanza team was in westlands constituency in Nairobi county for a popularisation tour.
In a twist and turn of events Wanjiru claimed that she was sent by Ruto to represent her,. it was at this moment that the supporters of the senator heckled her. They indicated that they are in Kenya Kwanza alliance.
The alliance has had some bitter exchanges in the near future after UDA chairman Johnstone Muthama Declared that UDA has no coalition agreement. During the speech, Sakaja spoke first and invited Wanjiru to speak after him. Both the senator and the renowned Bishop are gunning for the governor’s seat in the City County.
During his address Senator Sakaja Reiterated the importance of Unity and peace and also declared that he will be in the ballot for the governor’s seat. The outspoken senator hasn’t declared which party ticket he will use to vie. However Political pundits are having a field day speculating with most saying that he will vie using ANC.
In the past ANC has tried to sponsor candidates in various elective seats in the City with no luck. This has in turn made Sakaja very worried about his party of choice. A few days ago Wanjiru had dared Sakaja to come and face her in the primaries.
This hot debate about the governor’s seat will only gain momentum as the Azimio side continues receiving Contestants.
