Uhuru’s Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita Resigns to Vie for Machakos Governor

Uhuru’s Chief Staff Nzioka Waita has declared that he will resign. Nzioka Made the statement while speaking in a local television late night show. he declared that he will throwing his hat in the ring for the Machakos governor’s seat.

The chief of staff brings a wealth of experience in management and administration. He was appointed to government by the president during his first term. Nzioka Waita was poached from Safaricom where he was a senior manager. He was posted to head the presidential delivery unit.

During his statement Nzioka indicated that he doesn’t bring a lot of political experience to the table. The fierce and effective administrator is expected to battle it out with Johnstone Muthama of UDA and Wavinya Ndeti of Wiper.

Nzioka who is considered a fresh political man by his competitors has yet picked a preferred party. He is however expected to join the azimio brigade and fly the jubilee administration. on his admission Nzioka Waita indicated that he will not betray the president.

He is expected to have a hard time in his campaigns as his opponents have already gathered enough political muscle. As Waita prepares to resign next week the government is grappling with a workforce shortage.

With most senior government officials expected to resign in the coming weeks.The Executive is grappling with a shortage of appoints as every one moves to cement their future before the next general elections.
