Uhuru not to blame for higher cost of living;Government spokesperson

Government spokesperson, Retired Colonel Cyrus Oguna has said that Uhuru is not to blame for the current high cost of living being experienced in the country,

The government Spokesperson, Col (rtd) Cyrus Oguna has said that President Uhuru Kenyatta is not to blame for the current high cost of living being experienced in the country. According to Oguna the current high cost of living being experienced in the country is not an unique thing. He has indicated that this challenge is being faced everywhere in the world.

Oguna was speaking during an interview with a local radio station. during his interview he stated every country in the world country is experiencing high Inflation, High Cost of living among other factors. It was his main opinion that the Russia- Ukraine War is to blame for the high cost of living.

The retired Colonel also noted out that it would be very unfair for the citizens of the Kenya, to blame Uhuru for the high cost of living. The outspoken Colonel however failed to mention who Kenyans should blame for this high cost of living. It is understandable that Kenyans elected leaders who will protect the country’s interest and its people first.

Handshake Government

The Government Spokesperson also responded to the Kenyan Kwanza faction. The faction has been alluding that the handshake is to blame for sharp increase in the cost of living. He went on to say that the handshake has contributed immensely to the peace, Stability, Development and Growth of the country. Oguna went on to cite the expressway as some of the project that has been undertaken during the Handshake Government.

In his interview, Oguna seemed to avoid direct questions that may implicate Raila Odinga as a part of the current government. Odinga on his part has been quoted to say that he is not in government but he is an adviser to the president.

The only Question on the minds of Kenyans now is if they can’t blame Uhuru, who can they blame?
