One Kenya Alliance (OKA) is a political coalition that is formed by the signing of an agreement between four political parties in Kenya. The political parties include the following parties Wiper Democratic Movement(WIPER), Amani National Congress(ANC), Forum for restoration of Democracy-Kenya (FORD-KENYA), Kenya African National Union (KANU).
This four parties joined together in a bid to provide Kenyans with a third presidential candidate who will battle it out with Deputy President William Ruto and ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga. However in a turn of events the four principals of the alliance haven’t yet reached on a consensus and an agreement on who should be their flag bearer and a leader of their alliance. This has in turn created a rift between the alliance supporters.
Far from over: OKA Flag Bearer dilemma continues
Both Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi have declared their presidency ambitions strongly. They have indicated that their names must be on the ballot paper come 9th August 2022.
With Such kind of chest thumbing and strong political stands the alliance’s future is at a dilemma as the technical committee cannot come up with a suitable name for a flag bearer. During a recent meeting that was attended by all the four principals in Naivasha, the team of four pushed the announcement date further into the month indicating that they still have time.

Political Predictions
Political pundits are having a field day with most declaring that a Mudavadi presidency bid is stronger than a Kalonzo presidency bid.Sources close to the ANC party boss indicate that the leader is more suitable since he most likely loved by Kenyans more than Kalonzo.
According to the source who sought anonymity, Mudavadi can be able to eat at piece of votes from both Raila and Ruto’s camps. This attributed to the fact that Mudavadi is seen more a national Leader and less than a regional one.
