PS Julius Jwan issues a Stan warning to schools not yet closed for the holidays

Dr Julius Jwan ,Early Learning and Basic Education Principal Secretary, discouraged any form of tuition offered by by schools while they should be breaking for their holiday.

 

 

In  his speech at a conference coordinated by The Kenya Private Schools Association , stated that students should be at home with their parents and guardians. The schools students closed for the short holiday on 1st July and to resume  on July 11th to start off  their second term.

Dr Julius gave a fair warning to teachers who were keeping children in school for tuition purposes during the schools holiday..This is aimed at preventing much burden on primary and secondary pupils and allowing them spend time with their parents.

The PS also warned tutors against disrupting learning by attending political events at the expense of their duties. They should privately support parties of their choice.
