Post-mortem reveals the cause of death of The Nairobi half life actor.

The death of the Naironbi-Half-Life actor ,Wilfred Olwenya Maina caught the attention of many Kenyans across the country.

“We, the cast of Nairobi Half-Life, come to our fans with heavy hearts to inform you of the demise of Wilfred Olwenya Maina known as Oti in the beloved film due to a heart condition known as Hypertonic Cardiomyopathy. Our appeal to you is to help us as friends and family to give Olwenya a great sendoff,” said Jacky Vike on Instagram.

 

The family said that a post-mortem revealed that he succumbed to Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy or better known as (HCM) is a condition in which the heart muscle becomes thickened. The thickened heart muscle can make it harder for the heart to pump blood.

A night vigil has been planned and will take place at the Kenya National Theatre on 14th July from  6 pm to 9 pm.Among those who will be in attendance is The Azimio la Umoja running mate Martha Karua ,but due to unavoidable circumstances he may not be able to attend the vigil.

GRUESOME MURDERS IN NAIVASHA CONTINUES

Celebrity’s such as Juliani, boy band Hart the band, Mustafa, Teardrops and Kareh B will be expected to perform during the ceremony.

According to the schedule, the organizers will screen a number of scenes from every movie and TV series Olwenya has ever featured in, as well as the last projects he had worked on including; Nairobi Half-Life, Mali, Wash and set, Shuga, Taliya, Poacher, Country Queen scene, Heartstrings.
