The One Kenya Alliance is said to be struggling financially after their expected Financier ditched the alliance. Billionaire Business man Jimi Wanjigi has indicated that he is not part of OKA. Jimi Wanjigi indicated that he is a life time member of the Orange Democratic party.
To echo Wanjigi’s statements, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka indicated that Wanjigi was indeed not a part of OKA. Kalonzo was speaking at Wiper’s headquarters in Karen after the signing of the One Kenya Alliance deed of assignment.
Jimi Wanjigi was the main financier of the NASA coalition that Kalonzo was a co principal in. the business man funded the whole NASA campaign Presidential campaign to a tune of 10 billion shillings. Having Wanjigi in OKA would signify that the alliance would be well served financially.
The one Kenya Alliance was strengthened by the signing of the agreement. the alliance also admitted Martha Karua of Narc Kenya and Cyrus Jirongo of UDP.
The rift in One Kenya Alliance as Elections near
This reports come weeks after Wanjigi was seen in the company of the One Kenya alliance Principals. The Principals have been engaged in a campaign tour across the country. Among the regions they have visited include Ukambani, and the mount Kenya region with Kerugoya being their pit stop.
