Renowned musician jovial has spoken out against claims that she doesn’t have female friends. The renowned artist came under serious criticism from her fans who demanded to know why she has male friends. The artist responded in kind saying that Male friends are loyal and genuine unlike their female counterparts.

The gorgeous musician shared a post on her Instastory saying she prefers to have male friends because they have less drama.”Someone asked me why I don’t have friends. I do have friends, but male friends, and that’s my team. Hakuna watu hukuwa chilled kama maboys! any day. Depends with how you carry yourself. Wanawake hatupendani, sijui shida huwa gani,” she wrote.

The Jeraha hitmaker also added that she is choosy when it comes to working with other female artistes because she hates negative energy. “Those who know me know me. That’s why I prefer a male team. Focused. Kwanza ogopa wale hukuita babes. Those are the worst. Hata pressure za IG zinatokana na made. That’s why few female artistes are in the industry, no love,” she said. Her post was reposted on Nairobi Gossip’s Facebook page, attracting mixed reactions from social media users.

Jovial denied she wanted to seduce Rashid with her performance during his 40th birthday party. She added that since that incident, she’s received emails from women who’ve requested her to come to perform for their hubbies and ensure that she shook her backside.
