A five year old girl killed in a n accident that involved a county government owned ambulance at Oyuma trading Centre in Suna East sub-county.
Migori County police commander Mark Wanjala said the driver of the ambulance that was heading to Migori town lost control of the vehicle and hit the girl while she was playing on the verandah of their houses at the trading Centre.
The commander said the young girl died on the spot, and the body was moved to the Migori level four hospital awaiting investigations.
The police re yet to establish what happened before the accident.
He also said that the ambulance driver who had sustained injuries was alone in the vehicle.
