Kiambu senator Kimani Wamatangi is preparing to ditch the ruling party in favour of UDA. this statements have been made by Uasin Gishu Women representative Gladys boss Shollei.

Shollei who was speaking during an interview with a local television declared that she will be wooing the well renowned philanthropist to the hustlers side with boss saying that, that is her assignment currently.

Senator Kimani Wamatangi is eyeing the Kiambu gubernatorial seat. he is seeking to unseat current governor Nyoro who is facing a mired  of problems on his own. Wamatangi who is a second term senator has been seen engaging the locals in a bid to woo them to vote for him in the next general elections.

Panellist

Kimani is the current Majority Chief whip in the senate a position he snatched from the outspoken Murang’a senator. Although Kimani is considered a Government supporter in the different factions of the jubilee party the senator has never come out openly to attack the tanga tanga faction which has in return made him earn favour with them.

The Kiambu senator has been a frequent panellist on a local morning show, where he has addressed various problems that are underlying in the country. he was once quoted saying that he is willing to deputise Alfred Mutua if given the chance on a presidential ticket. He later indicated that he is going for the Kiambu Governor’s seat at the moment.

Face Off

Wamatangi will face off on the Governors with Patrick Wainana alias “wajungle”, Incumbent James Nyoro, Former Governor’s William Kabogo and Ferdinand Waititu. With UDA very popular among the residents of Kiambu county it is becoming very likely that the outspoken lawyer will join the Kazi ni Kazi Party.

In the next general election it seems as if the Kiambu Gubernatorial race will be a fight among the big wigs in the county, with all aspirants said to have deep pockets or a large financial support from close confidants.
