Karua Blames IG Koome Over Invasion Of Kenyatta’s Farm

Post by : Hillary Musyoki

Martha Karua has criticized the Inspector General of Police over the invasion of Northlands city, a property owned by the Kenyatta Family.

According to her, the IG failed to take action when the attackers invaded the property of former President Uhuru Kenyatta but “deploys police to block and tear gas lawful demonstrations.”

She also blamed the National Police Service (NPS) for “behaving as if the constitution has been suspended “saying “they must be reminded that each person bears personal responsibility for their actions.”

‘It’s up to  NPS to demonstrate to Kenyatta whether  they maintain law and order or allow goons to cause destruction and injury,” she added.

On Monday, March 27,2023, while the second wave of anti- government demonstrations took place in Nairobi, a group of invaders attacked Northlands city, a property along the Eastern Bypass in Nairobi, Ruiru.

The group was seen cutting trees and stealing hundreds of livestock from the farm.

The invaders also set the property on fire, burning down the trees.

A similar incident occurred at East African Spectre Limited, a property owned by Raila Odinga , where goons threw stones before fleeing  away.
