Former Mukurwe-ini Member of parliament Kabando wa Kabando has ditched Safina Party in favour of Narc Kenya. His defection comes barely weeks after Safina nominated Jimi Wanjigi to be its presidential flag bearer.

According to the prominent Nyeri politician, Safina party didn’t confirm to his ideologies and principals. There is speculation on the reasons of Kabando abandoning the party after Wanjigi joined.

According to reports seen by https://www.iconnews.co.ke team, The lawmaker indicated that his has consulted with his supporters, financiers and even his campaign team. He goes on to indicate that they have finally settled on Narc Kenya.

Narc Kenya is led by Martha Karua and the party recently joined the One Kenya alliance. With race in Central Kenya being between UDA and Jubilee it seems like Kabando might have a chance.
