Nandi hills member of parliament Alfred Keter has formally joined the United Democratic Alliance (UDA). The vocal Mp has been a fierce critic of Deputy president William Ruto. During his address the Mp indicated that he didn’t have a problem with the deputy president. he went to reiterate that all they have is a difference in opinion.

According to political pundits from the region, Keter was expected to vie on an independent platform a statement he denied. Alfred Keter indicated that he is in UDA to stay and that he believes in what UDA is trying to achieve. although his actions are being described as desperate, the MP seemed to be talking from both sides of his tongue.

Nominations

He claimed that he believes the nominations for UDA will be Free Fair and Credible. he went on to urge the deputy president to be aware of leaders on his team whom he claimed are misleading him.

Ruto who is on a campaign tour in Machakos has been intensifying his campaigns as the general elections draw near. Deputy President is promoting the bottom up economic model. the Bottom up economic model has been embraced by United states President Joe Biden.

According to Johnstone Muthama’s Twitter page the economic model is working in the united states and will surely work for the Kenyan economy.

Decamping

Alfred Keter move to UDA has been described as a move to rescue his dead political career. In a country which votes in relation to Party politics and party popularity Keter had made a bad move in supporting azimio in the past.

UDA is considered to be most popular in the Rift Valley, Mount Kenya Region, North eastern region, Parts of Western region, Ukambani and the coast region.
