In the past four years one could hardly mention the united democratic alliance (UDA) without mentioning Wangui Ngirici in the same sentence. Ngirici has been a fierce defender of the hustler nation, William Ruto and in general the whole UDA party.

However it seems as if her tune has changed to favour Raila Odinga who the fierce women representative has accused of not being good for Kenya’s future many times. Immediately after Governor Ann Mumbi Waiguru Joined UDA there was a wave of coldness between the Two since they could not attack each other politically based on party politics.

This has however changed after Wangui decamped from UDA and has since been seen in the circles and support of former cabinet secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri, Martha Karua of Narc Kenya  among other leaders in mount Kenya Region who are part of the Mount Kenya Unity Forum.

The forum has been calling for Unity of the region as we head in to the next General elections. Kenyans are speculating that the forum was formed in the basis of fronting a strong regional Kingpin who will be the next deputy president.

Coalitions

On his part , Deputy president William Ruto has been adamant in saying that those who want to be part of his government must fold their own parties and join UDA so that they can work together. However this is a position that he seems to be easing off on as he has welcomed the Idea of a coalition between him and ANC party Leader Musalia Mudavadi.

UDA Divisions as Ngirici goes silent amid Waiguru Move

Members of the unity forum have indicated that they will only join a coalition with UDA and they will not disband their own parties. Ngirici who has in the past accused these leaders of selfish Gains has turned around and said that the only way that the region can be able to secure a strong say in the government is if they stay united.
