The deputy President has unveiled new political and economic strategy to help counter Azimio. This strategy comes barely days after President Uhuru Kenya declared a public onslaught against his deputy.
According to the deputy president, his advisers will start going round the country engaging all the small business owners. This strategy seeks to strengthen his bottom-up economic model. The bottom up model has been a source of mixed reactions especially from the Azimio brigade.
During the launch of this new manoeuvre in Nyeri county, the deputy president reiterated his call that the only way to build Kenya is from the bottom up.
With the azimio leader expecting support from president Uhuru Kenyatta, it seems only fair for the DP to seek support from the people. The DP’s party has been the biggest beneficiary of the recent resignations from cabinet members. Most of the civil servants who resigned from government especially from the mountain region have joined UDA.
Empty Cabinet as Cabinet secretaries Resign
The DP’s team will seek views from business owners in all the counties. They will then table those views at a national event where signing will be done.
