According to the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Raila and Azimio lost the general election for playing with the church and God. While speaking during the burial ceremony of Baringo’s Deputy Governor Charles Kipngok. The fierce Leader indicated that Raila and Azimio in general decided to pick a fight with God directly.

Azimio is on record dismissing the prayerful nature of the Kenya Kwanza leaders. The dismissal was so great to a point where their deputy party leader and Running mate Martha Karua referred to the President as a “Deputy Jesus”. During this burial Rigathi went on record to indicate that both him and the president are prayerful people.

On the Campaign trail, Azimio led by their Presidential Candidate had indicate that they will close down small churches. This sentiments were also echoed by Ida Odinga at the time. Ida on her own words had indicated that small churches should be closed and the pastors undergo formal training in theology.

This sentiments were today re-echoed by the second in command. He indicated that the fight was between the servants of God and Azimio. Gachagua went ahead and said that God won’t have allowed Azimio to win the election.

The Drunkards

During his speech DP Gachagua also took offence with the drunkenness witnessed in Azimio. The DP went further to indicate that both him and the President aren’t drunkards but hardworking men. The DP who is commonly refereed to as Riggy G went on to indicate that they have already divided responsibilities. “Kazi ya William ni Uchumi, yangu ni kudeal na hii wizi ya Ng’ombe inayo tokea hapa Baringo” he was quoted saying.

Baringo County has been experiencing high levels of Insecurity. This is linked to cattle rustling which is a common practise in the area. The DP promised to deal with menace once and for all.
