At Schiaparelli’s latest runway show, Doja Cat wowed onlookers as she arrived in dramatic head-to-toe adorned with red body paint and 30,000 Swarovski crystals.
The outfit, which was custom-designed by Fashions house, creative director, Daniel Roseberry and was brought to life by makeup artist Pat Mc Grath.
The team took over five hours to complete the singers look.
Doja Cat is known for having a good fashion statement while she appears on any event. Her arrival at the Petit Palais in Paris marked a dramatic start to the Schiaparelli’s Couture Spring -summer 2022 show.
The show was the opening event of the biannual Haute Couture Week in Paris. Dubbed “inferno culture”, the latest’s collection was inspired by Dante’s “inferno” and the nine circles of hell according to Roseberry’s show notes.
Mc Grath described doja’s look as ‘Doja’s Inferno’. the makeup artist also posted a behind-the-scenes video showing her team painting the singer’s skin and applying thousands of crystals by hand.
Doja cat arrived at the show with the stylist Brett Alan Nelson, who wore a matching red suit and long jacket by Vtements. She then took a front row seat, opposite Kylie Jenner who had also stunned the fashion show with a black velvet strapless gown adorned with a life-sized faux lion head.
