Deputy presidential debate will be held on 19th July 2022 at The Catholic university of Eastern Africa ,karen ,Nairobi starting from 5pm to 10Pm.
The depate will be held in two tiers, first one for those with less than 5% approval ratings and second one for those with 5% and above.the first-tier will be moderated by Linda Alela of TV47 and Jacob Kioria of Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) while Sophia Wanuna of KTN and James Smart of NTV will moderate the second-tier.Panel discussions for both debates will be moderated by Trevor Ombija of Citizen TV.”
The Running Mate Headache!!Who will be the next Deputy President
The candidates will include Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga’s running mate Martha Karua, Deputy President William Ruto (UDA) running mate Rigathi Gachagua, Justina Wamae who is Prof George Wajackoyah ‘s Roots Party running mate and Agano Party Presidential candidate David Mwaure Waihiga running mate Ruth Mutua.
This will be the second debate after the Gubernatorial debate that was held on 11th July,followed by the Presidential debate which will be held on 26th July 2022.
