The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has changed its nomination dates for some of its constituencies. The Nominations for the UDA party were set to be held on 14th of April 2022. This date will remain the same for majority of their strongholds.

Those exempted from having nominations on 14th of April have been pushed forward to 19th April 2022. Nakuru Town  west, Narok South and Nandi hills will have to wait for the 19th of april to nominate the leaders to fly the UDA flag.

The party leadership, has been in negotiations with several leaders who have stepped down from their political ambitions in favour of their rivals. Some of the notable figures who have stepped down include Nairobi senatorial aspirant Karen Nyamu, South Imenti MP aspirant Jasper Muthomi among others.

Nomination through consensus has been advocated for in order to avoid a political fallout that is normally associated with party nominations.
