Post by : Hillary Musyoki

Bomet woman rep Linet Chepkorir ‘Toto’ is in court for allegedly hiring six of her family members.

Labour and Employment Judge James Toka, directed that the case filed against Linet will be heard within the jurisdiction in Bomet.

The Women rep, has been accused by two petitioners accusing her of Nepotism, they argue that six persons listed as interested parties in the case have been employed as support staff in various departments in the office of Bomet County Woman Rep.

The two petitioners argue that, the six were not competitively recruited and appointed therefore the court should reject their appointment.

The petitioners also want the court to direct Toto and the Public Service  Commission to recruit their support staff afresh in accordance with the guidelines.
