The Jubilee Mathare MP candidate ,Bahati Kioko claims that hi life is in danger after being attacked on Sunday night after attending a rally in Mathare.
He took to his Instagram to share a video and captioned :”I thought i should share this… i don’t think i am safe anymore but i will fight for the people of Mathare.
In the video he narrated his ordeal of how the attackers charged at him and tore his Jubilee party t-shirt.
”Today has been one of the hardest days in my campaign life and the hardest day in my political career , you know i have gone through a lot over the last couple of days and God is good . God is faithful we are here,” Bahati said.
According to the Mathare MP candidate ,his opponents, whose names he did not indicate ,are on his case for refusing to step down.

Jubilee Secretary General denies sponsoring election Bill
The Azimio Coalition presidential candidate Raila Odinga had requested Bahati to step down in favour of his opponent Oluoch .Raila promised to give him a job if he assumes office on August 9th but he turned down the offer.
Bahati stated that despite being pressured to step down .He will be on the ballot come August 9th.
