Member of Parliament from the opposition party who camped at the entrance of President Ruto’s office at Harambee House have been dispersed meeting head on with police.
The comitte included Kilifi Senator Stewart Madzao, Kitui Snator Enoch Wambua, Kathiani MP Robert Mbui, Rosa Buyu, Edwin Sifuna and others.
The legislators marched to the president’s officers with letters at hand.
Speaking to the security officer present at the gate of Harambee House, Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna said they will march to other government offices to deliver their petitions.
“We just want to give this letter to the right person. Tell them to come and take it.”
Shortly after the legislators were hit with teargas to disperse them.
