Post by : Leah Achieng

Renowned rapper King Kaka and his wife TV host and Influencer Nana Owiti have been rumoured to have held a secret beach wedding yesterday night. Earlier in the day, King Kaka had posted a photo of Nana Owiti’s ring. According to a source who shared a video with Nairobi Gossip the couple is said to have exchanged their vows on the beach.
A quick check on their socials has proved futile as the couple is yet to post anything. One thing is clear though, they are on the coast, from a video posted by Nana one could tell how they were gushing over each other that they are newlyweds.
Nana and the rapper have been married for nine years and recently celebrated their 9th anniversary marking eleven years of friendship. The couple has been blessed with two children.
Their marriage has not been a walk in the park, a few months ago King Kaka was accused of abandoning his baby mama Sage. Netizens claimed that the pregnancy ruined her career while King Kaka went on to succeed and married his lover media personality Nana Owiti.
Sage had taken to her Twitter to announce that she had struggled with depression and KOT blamed Rabbit. In her statement, Sage said, “After I had my baby, I suffered from post-partum depression which turned into depression. I didn’t want to leave the house, I had a lot of anxiety and even shut everyone out. I was scared to release my song because I didn’t know if people would like it.
The doubt
I doubted myself to the point I just wanted to be alone. I had writer’s block but early last year, I started to write songs and recorded a lot of it but still, but I was still scared. I only released two songs,”
However, Owiti defended her marriage and stated that marriages were not always perfect and that it required work for a marriage to work.In a video posted by Nana Owiti, the couple looked happy dancing in a 360 photo booth in marching Ankara outfits. They looked happy and Nana talked about the flaws in marriages.
A good marriage is not something you FIND. It’s something you MAKE and you have to continue making it tirelessly because it has nothing to do with compatibility. After all, we all evolve. It’s learning and relearning your partner in their different stages of life. It’s always a crash course ahead. Here’s my Lifetime partner.” Said the mother two.
Nana and King Kaka make a happy drama-free couple, the two rarely trend for the wrong reasons. Their wedding might have been to seal their already existing reunion. We wish them all the best.
